Job Duties:
The Human Resources Generalist plays an integral role on the HR Team, partnering with management to plan, develop, integrate and implement HR strategies that result in the improvement of business unit performance. Continuously improve all HR practices and processes, including but not limited to talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits management, employee relations, employee health and wellness, training and development, leaves, HRIS, internal communications, government and legal compliance.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assists in the implementation of business process and/or technology solutions at the business unit and analyzing current process flows making suggestions for lean process improvements and implementing changes accordingly.
• Partners with management to develop and execute plans that optimize talent, structure, process and culture. Provides support and technical direction to assure that HR is viewed as an excellent source of problem resolution, teamwork support, fairness and diversity.
• Builds collaborative, trusting and credible relationships throughout the organization. Interacts with all levels of employees on a daily basis to provide information, troubleshoot issues, and clarify policies. Applies theories and principles of change and diversity to influence organizational culture.
• Implements key performance management initiatives including: goal setting, mid-year and annual-review process, promotions, and talent review. Creates and conduct presentations, as needed, to communicate new/and or changes to organizational initiatives.
• Coordinates and administers the on-boarding program and terminations. Analyzes program to determine effectiveness and to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies. Identifies and streamlines non-value added processes while improving overall employee experience.
• Coordinates and administers Worker’s Compensation ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and Company policy and procedures. Prepares and processes required paperwork, maintain files, prepare metrics charts and graphs, maintains contact with the injured worker, and is a company representative on status calls with the insurance carrier. Analyzes programs to determine effectiveness and implement revisions as needed.
• Advises management of any major matters that may affect desired personnel relationships.
