Position Description:
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following: Perform project set up in Costpoint to support billing and project reporting based on contract requirements (T&M, CPFF, and FFP). Prepares and submits invoices for government and commercial customers in compliance with contractual and FAR regulations for all contract types. Reviews contract documents for information or changes related to invoicing. Ensures bills are in compliance with appropriate contracts, cost allowability, funding limitations, and contractual and Federal Government requirements.  Bills customers in a timely and accurate manner.  Assists in other AR areas such as cash applications and unbilled receivable reconciliation. Confirms that contract specific closeout requirements have been accomplished and creates and submits final invoice or voucher.  Calculates and submits indirect rate adjustments. Support DCAA and internal audits.

Basic Requirements (Education, Experience, Special Skills):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Deltek/Costpoint experience with project set up and government billing required.
  • Must have accounting experience with a Government Contractor and a strong understanding of Government contracts.
  • Must have experience with iRAPT (formerly Wide Area Workflow / WAWF)
  • Results-oriented, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Must be a self-starter capable of working through complex transactions, systems, and interfaces.
  • Ability to manage multiple changing priorities and work with minimal day to day supervision.
  • Able to work effectively with all levels of management.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions/processes.
